I have actually been fortunate enough to find a great oppportunity - and no I didn’t have to pay for any start up fees, or training manuals or anything like that!

The great thing about the Internet is that you can make a truckload of money out here. Yes, you really could quit your full time job if you work hard! And that is one problem - most people think that the money must fall into their lap! If I can tell you anything, it is that, now listen very closely…

THERE IS NO OPPORTUNITY ON THE INTERNET WHERE YOU CAN MAKE MONEY FOR DOING NOTHING!! INTERNET SCAMS WILL OFFER YOU THE WORLD, AND MOST DON’T KEEP THEIR PROMISE, BUT OUT OF THOSE WHO DO - YOU WILL HAVE TO WORK HARD TO MAKE MONEY!

Its life! e.g. If I’m hungry & I plant a vegetable tree…its not going to grow unless I look after it, which requires work. Watering the plant everyday, buying compost, trimming, etc!

If I want something….I have to put in work to achieve it! If I want money….its not going to magically appear…I have to do something to start the process, then work a bit to make sure I reach my goals! Every heard of a winning rugby/soccer team winning without having to go to practice? Hard work earns hard cash!

The bad new - most people actually believe these false promises! And they end up losing money! The result - they are very sceptical about any other opportunities, or even stay away from the opportunities to make money! And thats the sad part - that there is ways to make money on the net, and their lives will never improve, because they were tricked!

 Lets go through a few points and scams to look out for and stay very far away from! Lets help each other to find the genuine opportunities!

Get Paid To Surf - Internet Survey Scams

I see these darn programs advertised everywhere.  It sounds easy right?  All you have to do is surf the web, fill out some surveys, answer some emails and they’ll send you a check every month.

Most of these “pay to surf” programs want you to pay money upfront.  This is how they make their bread and butter! Some even offer a money-back guarantee, and everyone knows, that it usually involves a very long process! They realize most people aren’t going to go through all the hassle just to get their money back so they give up.  Cha-ching!  Another person suckered.

They offer you a training package at a fee…then you don’t get paid! You have to advertise yourself to companies, and only get surveys if those companies contact you!

In other types, they send you emails to read or you must read adverts on the net…and they pay you for each one like 1$ or 5c or something ridiculous! And they only send you a certain amount per day!

There’s always a catch!

I’m not saying you can’t make money from some of these programs, but I would highly recommend you do some thorough research and ask a lot of questions before joining any of them. The ones I’ve seen thus far have all been purely bogus and a complete rip-off!

Here Come The Adsense Scams….

Of course, since the program has a huge profit potential there will always be people who try to create “shortcuts” that claim to make it “easier” for people to make money.

I recently heard of a program called “Adsense Ready” that will allow you to download hundreds of pre-written web pages (so you don’t have to write your content yourself). In minutes you can have tons of articles at your fingertips and create your website in a flash.  Sounds great right?

Well there’s one big problem with this… Search engines IGNORE duplicate content.  So as time goes on and more people purchase these articles, the search engines will catch on and begin to ignore the pages.  Their duplicate content filter will go into high gear.

Remember….the key to making money with Adsense is getting traffic to your site so people can click your ads.

Most people rely on the free search engines as their main Internet traffic source. So, how are you going to capitalize on all this traffic if the search engines are ignoring your site? The answer is….you won’t!

THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS! This is just further proof that there are no shortcuts to making money on the Internet.  If you want to become successful, you have to be prepared to learn the ropes and work at it.

MLM Internet Scams / Affiliate marketing

This stuff is everywhere! The web page usually begins with a big, bold headline claiming how much you’ll make every week.  If they really want to get creative they’ll use an image of a person smiling and holding a wad of money in their hand. What that person is really saying behind that smile is “You sucker!”

Usually an MLM program will require you to buy some product and then recruit others to do the same.  You’ll earn a commission on all of your sales as well as sales from anyone who joins beneath you.

They make you seem important by providing you with this instant, turnkey website that does all the selling for you and you’re thinking “Cool…I don’t even have to build a site. It’s already done for me!”

Just remember, most people who join will probably quit, as they will soon find out that its not so easy to actually make money!

Do they tell you that you also have to pay a monthly fee to host their website, and you have to pay for any advertising, beacause if you don’t advertise you wont get traffic to your site!

And a far as that website is concerned, they also don’t tell you that as soon as you try to submit that site to Google, MSN and Yahoo, it will be ignored because it is a duplicate of the other 20,000 MLMers already in the program. 

They don’t tell you that the best way to get search engine traffic is to build your own website with its unique content.  I mean why should they when they want you to believe all you’ll ever need is that instant site they provided you!

The only people that make any real money with these programs are the people on top.  The rest of the people are left holding the bag trying to figure out how to promote their website and recruit other people to sign up beneath them.

Just remeber, not all MLM schemes are based on the same principals, you will have to research it extensively! Read ALL the fine print! e.g there is a business opportunity on my other page - which may seem like an MLM/Affiliate scheme - but it is not - it is totally legal! If they want you to sell products for them or get more people and earn a commission, while you have to  pay for hosting and pay for all the advertising - I strongly suggest that you consider it carefully and read all the fine print!

Home based Business Scams

With these you will notice one thing…They never tell you what type of business it is or what you must do to make money! And they always ask a once-off fee for a training package! Some are refundable within a certain period, but who knows if you will ever get your money back! Home based Typist/Data Capturer

These things really suck…I thought: How easy! All I have to do is some typing or whatever evey day, & get paid for it! The truth: Firstly you have to pay like R150-R250 for a training package. Then once you’ve done your training, you have to advertise yourself as a home-typist/data-capturer! Who says anyone is actually looking for someone to do typing for them? I found adds that say home-based typist needed - they are all the same crap! They don’t even offer you a job - they offer you a training package, then you must still look for a job! Don’t waste your time! Or Money!
